Biography

A Remarkable Gift

Benjamin began playing the piano in 1999, aged fourteen, studying locally with Sue Campbell.
Within a year he was offered a place at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama,
studying with Penny Davies in its junior department, where he went on to win the 'Beattie' prize for piano.

Now 21, Benjamin attends London's Trinity College of Music where
he is studying for a BMus (Hons) degree under Alexander Ardakov.

For his third year of studies (commencing September 2005), Benjamin has been offered a place at the Slovak Republic's
Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts in Bratislava. He is the first English student to study at this prestigious conservatoire.

Benjamin has two ambitions: to become a performer and to make classical music more accessible.
